Adding additional social value, over and above our product and service package.

We acknowledge that adding value to the contract beyond our physical product and service is an important ingredient and where possible we look to support your organisations social value initiatives.

With organisation and pre-planning, we are open to discussions on how A&B Glass Group and Asset Fineline can support individual client’s social value.

• Work experience / placements for those who wish to consider a career in the window and door industry.
• Career advice / mentoring activity from staff at A&B Glass Group and Asset Fineline who are trained to provide career mentoring.
• A workplace visit – the business employs a wide range of qualified personnel from engineers, to IT staff, procurement professionals, project management teams, HR professionals etc.
• School presentations by A&B Glass Group and Asset Fineline staff to pupils on topics relating to the building industry.
• Volunteering within the community.
• Participation in charity fund raising events.
• Apprenticeships (using Government Kick Start scheme).
• Factory tours or workshops with resident groups.
• Undertaking wellbeing initiatives for staff and customers.
• Soft skills training – this comprises a wide range of activities from interview skills / CV writing / work place etiquette / IT software training – perhaps directed more towards the resident community.
• Donations – the business already supports local community and client related activities with both donations of funds and practical help comprising material sourcing either using company buying power or the provision of labour.
• Sponsorship of local sports and recreation clubs.
• Sponsorship of SARS – Suffolk’s Emergency Medical Charity.
