Contract Award Release

Asset Fineline are pleased to have been awarded a multi-year contract to supply windows and doors for new housing at the Orchard Place development in King’s Lynn which is under construction by partnership housing developer Lovell for the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk as part of the council’s programme to provide new housing for local residents.

Lovell has signed a development management agreement with the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk which will see the company build up to 600 homes with a potential value of up to £80 million in the King’s Lynn area by 2020.

Orchard Place, Marsh Lane, is one of five sites included in the council’s major housing project which will deliver much-needed new housing and infrastructure improvements.

Asset Fineline, who are based in Norfolk and a long-term supplier to Lovell, are the commercial division of the A&B Glass Group, one of the largest fabricators and installers of window, door and associated products in the UK and are specialists in the supply to the public-sector housing market for both refurbishment and new build construction projects.

Lovell senior Quantity surveyor Robert Preston said: “We have worked with Asset Fineline on a number of previous developments and are pleased to be continuing the relationship with a local business who are an important part of our supply chain on this project in King’s Lynn.”
